November 9 2006.
And then there were 10……2 babies have gone home. Our picture today is Cindy St Clair with her new girl, Opal. As you can see, Opal took right to her new mom and rode off in style in a new wire crate with plenty of toys, chewies and food to keep her company on her first road trip.
We have the Williamson family coming tomorrow for little Jacqueline and the Muedder family coming tonight. I’ll keep you posted on who Allison and her husband pick out.
The pups are getting so very big. I hope to move everyone to the regular side of the kennel this weekend. My stored furniture can’t take much more puppy breath and puppy chewies J It is amazing to watch them grow.
Two updates that have been on the volunteers list. Belle the silver standard is not pregnant. When our vet did an emergency spay yesterday, he removed 6 lbs of fatty tissue from around her uterus. He’s never seen anything like it and neither have I. Belle has a new trim waistline now and we’ll find her a perfect home.
Gloria had her left eye removed yesterday in another emergency surgery. She’ll be fine. Glaucoma finally took it’s toll. She has not been able to see out of the eye for quite some time so for her, it’s no big deal.
More soon..it’s going to be a beautiful day at Dreamweaver Farms. We’ll be grooming and getting many of our furkids ready to go to their new homes tomorrow.
Talk to you soon
Donna

Wish I could see the babies before they all get adopted. The pictures are adorable and I know 12 families are going to be very happy -- and BUSY.
